Ok... this is rather funny and I totally forgot about it, until last night, that is.

Last night, my DH and I decided to watch our old VHS (yes, an actual video TAPE lol) of the movie Dungeons and Dragons (yes, he and I are D&D rpg geeks).

Well, I TOTALLY forgot that Tom Baker was in it for one scene! He actually played an Elf, a healer at that and has a few lines even lol

I remember the very first time my DH and I watched this movie...gawd, like 6 years ago?...and as soon as we saw him, we looked at each other, laughed and was basically like "OMG Doctor Who is an Elf!!!"

Well, that was my 6 degrees moment that I wanted to share and add to the list lol

...and wasn't it the world's most wasted cameo? Tom is capable of so much more. (Then again, the D&D movie was just that dreadful. Perhaps he didn't have much to work with.)

I agree, Tom can do so much more. There really wasn't much for Tom to do in that scene other than just sit there and talk. I remember when we joked about "Doctor Who as an Elf", we actually read through the credits just to make sure we were right.

Yeah, that movie was... meh... but we watch it for a good laugh because, since we actually play the game, it was fun tearing it apart about what was wrong with it and, besides, our kids like it.

I think the funniest part is that my DH actually put the movie in to fall asleep to, but I can't do that, I always end up watching the entire movie before I can sleep.
